Associated Paddlers Group

Welcome to Associated Paddlers, a group consisting of those I have paddled with, coached or who are members of other clubs, ranging from beginners who have completed some training with me, to experienced paddlers. The paddles themselves will be planned around the ability of the group and prevailing weather conditions.

There is great demand for social paddling in the safe environment of a group and I find that I am mostly being asked for gentle paddles. With this in mind we will be exploring some of the stunning locations that I have discovered here in Devon.

Although Devon has an amazing coastline, we are very much restricted by the weather conditions - swells, winds etc - which can be very disappointing. However, when we are not able to go out to sea (which can be often) there are lots of inland areas to be explored; these include rivers, estuaries, canals, lakes and sheltered bays that I have found over the years and which I will be sharing with you, especially during the winter months.

The Associated Paddlers Group is also designed for some of the beginners that I have been coaching and who wish to continue with me helping to develop their paddling skills while at the same time enjoying organised tours throughout our stunning county of Devon.

Group costs will be kept to a minimum and where necessary will include boat hire, kit and transportation.
